True change happens from the ground up. Inspiring and educating our youth sets us up for a more informed and prepared future!
The diverters strive to be ambassadors for the circular economy* , the recycling and waste picking* to the communities they live in. This is why the Diverters Foundation created a program that sends ambassadors to schools and other organizations to have meaningful conversations.
Further, we also encourage university students to get involved through research projects and campus events! Diverters are environmental stewards and have intricate knowledge on many educational topics like the environment, social equity, recycling, and even social measures of health! They can be an excellent resource for community based projects that work towards educating the public and destigmatizing low-income livelihoods!
